Loving Home Ketubah

    The artwork surrounding the ketubah text celebrates the warm and loving home inaugurated by the Jewish wedding. The printed papercut border presents impressions of the Jerusalem skyline. Scattered over the building tops are the seven wedding blessings written in micrography. This is a lithograph of an original hand-papercut piece.

Song of Songs Ketubah

    This Ketubah contains many superb elements of design and symbolism. The entire text of The Song of Songs, written in micrography, is interwoven within the delicate printed papercut motif. Eighteen petals represent "chai" or "life" and thirty six painted areas with gold stars are indicative of two souls that are joined for eternity. Walled Garden Ketubah

    This design is based on Biblical allusions to beauty, joy and fruitfulness and the love of Jewish tradition. The celebrated passage from the Song of Songs "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine" is worked into the inner and outer borders. Elsewhere, the man describes his lover as a walled garden inspiring the title and overall theme of this Ketubah. Each element is laden with symbolism relating to vitality, fertility, celebration and sanctification. This is a lithograph of an original hand-papercut piece.
