Jamie Shear KetubahsJamie Shear, went to Israel at the age of fourteen for the first time to attend a summer camp where he instantly fell in love with the land, people, language and culture. He returned to Israel to resume various programs of study. During his studies, his commitment to Torah study and passion for Hebrew lettering grew. Jamie aspired to write a Torah scroll. Jamie apprenticed with a scribe and for the years to follow, Jamie spent much of his free time practicing the letterforms and reviewing the laws. Since his certification, Jamie has written numerous Mezuzahs, Tefillin, Megillahs and Ketubahs and has completed three Torah scrolls. Jamie performs his work with passion, concentration, and the highest standard of integrity. |
